IM BACK

I know, I know. I have not been blogging for the past few days because just so much has been happening and I have not had the time to sit down and just to blog. My deepest apologies, I will now go back to my old routine and try to blog daily. To continue where I started off, On Wednesday I woke up and went to the dining commons with Andrew before we left to go back home. After we ate we went to go pick up my paycheck because I NEED MY MONEY. Afterwards, we took the Davis bus back to Andrew’s place. This was the first time I took the Davis bus and it was the first time I took the school bus. It was actually a lot better than AC transit back at home. For one, there is not any random people who are really weird or nor is there homeless people. We got back to his place to pack his things and then we were off. We left around noon and got back around 1. When I got home I was really happy to see my mom waiting for me. She then took her old role of being a chauffeur since I have no wheels. She took me to the orthodontist and I decided to change up my color. My orthodontist decided I should pick purple, so now I have purple. Now I can say to everybody I GOT PURPLE! YEAH! Afterwards, I rejoiced with Anele. It was a very happy moment. We then went to Venus with the group. It was a lot of fun. I really do miss hanging out with the guys and gals. I think about them a lot when I am in Davis and they know who they are. I am always grateful to be able to hang out with them and I do not take every minute I hang out with them for granted. Same goes with the family. Ever since I moved to Davis, I really started to realize how much I miss my fam and friends. As my orthodontist said when your the middle of it you don’t realize how much you take things for granted in the long run, its till you leave you realize and that is why you hindsight is 20/20. Man that guy should also become a psychologist he would be ranking in dough even though he already does. I am pretty sure a lot of people realized this who where super smarty pants in high school and left home right aftewards, but it was finally my time to experience that. Thanksgiving day, I went to go visit my grandparents and cousins which was really nice. We had the usual of turkey, stuffing, YAMS, and cranberry. The time of the year where it feels great to have multiple food comas. The next day on black Friday I did not go shopping because I am too lazy to go shopping and I like to enjoy my sleep after I eat all that turkey. What a great aphrodisiac turkey is. I worked on my research project for ARE which is stressing me out, I was so stressed I cut my hair that weekend and now all the stress is gone haha. Afterwards, Andy and I went to go save Anele from his long work day (poor guy) and went to Safeways to buy some Yams for the potluck. Saturday worked on my project even though I did not want to do it and I made candied Yams. I use to think making them Yams was a serious hard business, but after I did it really not that bad. It is really simple to make all you gotta do is boil the yams, smash the yams, mix in brown sugar, spread it on a pan, put marshmallows on top, and stick that sucker in the oven till the marshmallows turn brown. HAZAAAH! You got yourself some might fine tasty candied yams. That night we had an amazing potluck! I met a couple of real cool people while being able to hang out one last time with my friends until after the next 2 weeks of hell. Sunday went back to Davis and worked more on my project. Now I am constantly studying or working on my papers. I may not be able to blog everyday for the next couple of days because of the strenuous work load I have but I will try my best. I know I do not have pictures on here and I have heard of that quote, ” a picture can tell a thousand words”. But for now, I do not have a camera so I guess I will need to write a thousand words to explain a picture of what I have done. More typing what could be more fun than that?
